Steam and hot water systems

Hot water or steam systems are used to supply heat consumers who require temperatures above 110° C. to about 200° C.

  • AGO delivers the complete power to build energy centers for steam and hot water generation with all necessary, coordinated systems for safe and energy-efficient operation.
  • The facilities built by the AGO range from 1,000 kW to 50,000 kW of heating power.
  • The covered pressure ranges are 25 bar(s) for hot water plants and 54 bar(s) / 450° C. for steam plants.
  • All necessary conditions and approvals, such as certificates, HP0 approval, production of welding specifications by a separate welding specialist, pipe books, are part of the range of performance from AGO.

Heat pumps

The term heat pump is based on the fact that heat from the environment is raised to a higher usable temperature level (pumped).

Heat can be removed from the waste air, the soil, the waste water or the ground water by using a heat pump. A multiple of the electrical power used for the heat pump can be removed from the heat sink (air, ground) and pumped to a higher temperature level. In the current account, the heat pump is supplied with electrical power for the compressor drive and the heat extracted from the environment. Part of the supplied power is available at the outlet of the heat pump as heat at a higher level.

Biomass heating(power) plants

We see ourselves as a specialist in the field of planning, financing, construction and operation of biomass heating (power) plants. The plants are planned on the basis of the heat requirements of the company to be supplied. The individual requirements of our customer determine the technology.

wood chips or residual wood from wood processing plants are fired in a special biomass boiler. Depending on requirements, heat, hot water, steam and electricity can be generated. In addition, cold can be generated from the unused waste heat by means of an absorption refrigeration system.

As fuel we use wood chips from wood fresh wood or old wood. As a rule, the basic load is covered by biomass and the peak load is operated via conventional energy carriers.
In the recent past, we have installed various biomass boilers and have a long-term operator experience in the utilization of wood chips as fuel.

An advantage of biomass: The greenhouse emissions trading law (TEHG) considers this energy carrier CO2-neutral.
