Heat Ventilation

University of Bayreuth New building Laboratory building

A modern laboratory building with offices was built on the campus of the University of Bayreuth.

The ventilation system, which ensures ventilation and ventilation of the laboratory rooms with a capacity of about 20,000 m3/h, is equipped with a highly efficient system for heat recovery. In addition, a special exhaust system with redundant fan control was installed for the gas and chemical cabinets to ensure maximum safety.

For stationary heating, a heating system was integrated which not only heats the rooms but also supplies the space-air equipment (RLT) located on the roof. A refrigeration system was also installed for precise air conditioning of the laboratory rooms.

Technical data:

  • Air quantity RLT devices: 20,000 m3/h
  • Heater Power: 135 kW
  • Cooling capacity: 82 kW
  • WRG performance: 125 kW
