AGO Calora - Stadtwerke Neuburg an der Donau
The first Calora heat pump was successfully implemented as part of a research project funded by the BMWK. Together with the Stadtwerken Neuburg an der Donau, we were able to implement the demonstration plant in an industrial environment with high performance. The heat pump uses the waste heat from a block heating power plant (BHKW) to generate hot water with temperatures of up to 135° C., which efficiently supplies heat to a malting plant. For its innovative technology and outstanding energy efficiency, the plant was awarded the Bavarian Energy Award as well as the Energy Efficiency Award of the German Energy Agency.
