Our photovoltaic system: Sustainable electricity - for us and the network

Since last year our photovoltaic system has been operating successfully. It not only supplies our electric vehicles with clean electricity daily, but also actively contributes to the regional power supply.

Our annual balance shows a total production of 88 megawatt hours (MWh).
Over the course of the year, around 41 MWh were fed into the public electricity grid – mainly on weekends and holidays, when internal consumption was low.

The remaining 47 MWh were used directly on site for own consumption, in particular for charging our electric and hybrid vehicles. This corresponds to an own consumption share of around 53% of the total energy produced.

AGO thus makes a concrete contribution to the energy transition and to the relief of the power grids and thus saves about 56 tons of CO2.

“This investment pays mainly for the environment – and that was exactly what our goal was,” says Managing Director Günther Hein.
