The AGO built a plant for high-pressure steam generation using exhaust gases from a glass melting tank, with feed water degassing and water treatment.

Hot water production is carried out with the aid of a gas-fired large-scale water boiler. The heat is decoupled into a remote heating network with mains pressure maintenance and remote heating pumps.
